1950s Black & Yellow 'Tigris' Lady Sculpture Vase by Anneliese Beckh manufactured by Schmider Zell Keramik. This early mid-century hand painted vase with its glossy black glaze and yellow and white wavy stripes is one of the rarer forms in the ‘Tigris’ design. The base is stamped with what appears to be 4152. The vase is in very good condition except for one small chip to the glaze surface near the rim of the flower holder on the left side underneath. We can feel a very small crack which appears to be to the glaze when running our fingers over the inside edge of the left bowl - unfortunately we can't capture it in a photo because its not noticeable.
