Italian Textured Starburst Floral Vase, Marked “Italy 148"

A 1950s - 1960s hand‑painted Italian Fratelli Fanciullacci style pottery jug, featuring a creamy textured body with a cinched waist and wide flared rim. The decoration includes a rustic wheelbarrow overflowing with colourful leaves and flowers, complemented by scattered leaf motifs and atomic stars around the lower section. The rim is finished with a geometric border in warm brown and orange tones, giving it a folk‑art, countryside feel.

The base is marked “6264 ITALY”, indicating Italian manufacture and a pattern or model number typical of mid‑century decorative ceramics.

In lovely vintage condition with light, age‑appropriate wear. Hand‑painted decoration remains bright and charming, with only minor surface marks from decades of careful use. Slight cracking of glaze on lower handle as shown in photos. No chips. Clean inside.
